Robb, Great job on the prezi! The benefits definitely out-weight any disadvantages. Like you said, the kids love it and I agree tablets help with students who have low attentions spans. Thank you for sharing the grants and funding resources too! I believe you want third grade which is what I want too, and I believe Class Dojo will help tremendously with classroom management. I'm interested in seeing apple or google classroom and seeing how it works. Thanks for sharing!
Robb, that's awesome! you'll have to teach me how you linked your Prezi, the presentation loaded much faster than when I tried opening it when it is embedded. As weird as it sounds, I never though about how integrating iPads in the classroom could count as integrating technology. I have seen a class set purchased at the college setting but unfortunately I do not think they were used much. There are so many awesome free applications available that can help assist students in the learning process and I am going to have to do some more research on apps that I can possibly integrate and use in the classroom. Thank you for sharing the resources about organizations that help fund the integration of technology! I will also be taking a look into those!
